Shared this, despite it not being done, simply because I have nothing better to share. Remind me to finish this off before the end of March. I'm just too busy irl to do so at the moment, sadly. This is @Agnes_Nitt's idea of a good theme for an art contest. Unsurprisingly, this category has very few entries. Well, one, i.e. this one. The contest probably won't be judged in categories. ...anyway, I hope you enjoy my first shared block shade that has nothing to do with Terry Pratchett at all in any way whatsoever! It's my most complex and detailed to date, but the one I did for my tutorial is still my best one. About a third of the way in I decided this would be the most monotonous thing I will ever have voluntarily done, and instead decided to block shade a loaf of bread that had been half-consumed with the cut end facing away from the viewer, which made things much easier as I could just draw a line up to where I wanted to stop. It was just as monotonous, but the end was within sight. And it still looks OK. Or will. I have an official Guild license (no. 201) to block shade. Visit the Block Shaders' Guild for yours.
