The title of this project has two meanings. The first is that all LGBTQ+ people have faced homophobia before, and therefore we are alike in that way. The second is that we, as LGBTQ+ people, are just like people who aren't in our community. We are all the same, and we should be treated like it. I Remixed this project because I have seen so, so many hurtful comments shared around Scratch that disregard the identity and existence of LGBTQ+ people. While this project is not meant to refute those "opinions," it does clearly explain that homophobia is wrong and dangerous. There is literally no excuse for believing that someone's identity is wrong, and when you say that you "disagree with people being gay," it's like saying that you "disagree with people for being black." It does not matter what your religion or political beliefs are, you have no right to "disagree" with who people are.
