~ Spiderpaw's Past(third person) How did it happen? I don’t know. No one knows, possibly not even her. If she does she is never telling. Oh, you don’t know who she is? Her real name is Darksight, but you might know her as Spiderpaw…. Darksight was born into a clan far away from ShrubClan called ShadowClan. She was always considered a little… strange. That led her to become a little bit of an outcast from the rest of her clan; she felt like she never belonged, she was bitter and lonely and her littermates wouldn't even look at her. Then, she had these strange dreams of a she-cat with many scars. She told her that her name was Mapleshade and that if Shadowsight wanted she could become the greatest warrior ever known. Darksight, naturally, agreed to the training, learning so fast that she was made a warrior before she was 11 moons old. The night after her warrior ceremony Mapleshade came to Darksight and told her the truth, she was not the only one training in the Dark Forest. The cats who lived there were going to create an army and then wipe out the clans for the wrongs that they had received from cats who had gone to starclan while they were sent here to a wasteland with no sun, stars, or moon. Darksight begged to lead the charge and become a commander. But Mapleshade told her that was only possible if she found and ate the only prey here. The strange spiders with the purple legs that seemed to glow. She was told that if she found and ate one she could become a commander of the Dark forest. Eagerly Darksight found and ate one after what felt like moons of searching. But as soon as she swallowed she realized - she had been tricked! It felt like she was thrown into nettles and held there. She was being pricked and pricked… then it was over. And she felt different. Powerful. She could turn into a spider, spin webs, and control spiders. She found Mapleshade and for the lie she was told made quick work of the Dark Forest cat. Afterward she swore vengeance on all clans for being left until she became this not quite a spider - but definitely not a cat. After finishing off her littermates though, she realized that if she was going to take her revenge she would need to be forgotten. But still thirsty for revenge she decided to search for another group of clans similar to a clan. After a little while she found one… When she found ShrubClan she found a rogue that was near kitting. After a few days when the queen started kitting she transformed into a spider, creeping near the nest as the kit was born. And before the little she-kit took her first breaths she bit her. Why did Darksight bite her? Some instinct told her to. The bite transferred Darksight’s powers and memories into the little kit but, the kit was a strong one. She rebelled and fought to keep hold. Darksight named her Spiderkit as a reminder of what happened to her. Somehow she managed to get the newborn kit to the entrance of ShrubClan before the little kit collapsed. There she learned that a spider bite would quickly strengthen Darksight’s hold. After the deputy of ShrubClan Mistletoestorm was convinced by Darksight that she would make her leader, she let in Darksight and made it seem like she just appeared in the nursery. She also asked Brindlestar to mentor Spiderpaw so they could plan together in secret. All the while while Siderpaw was trying and trying to regain control of herself to the point when Darksight got a spider to constantly be with Spiderpaw to control her.And so this story is at a crossroads. Will Darksight be able to destroy ShrubClan and all the other clans? Or will Spiderpaw be able to fight off her hold and rescue ShrubClan before it is too late?
