QUESTIONS: 1. To start off, how long have you been creating art for? I've been drawing for idk how long, but doing so with the intent of improving since I was 11 or 12 2. Do you consider yourself a beginner artist? I'm somewhere inbetween beginner and experienced - I've trained myself into a lot of good habits, but also a lot of bad ones. 3. How often do you draw? When I'm bored in lessons, or whenever I feel like it 4. What mediums do you have experience with? · digital, pen(cil) and paper, and watercolour (that went badly) 5. What's your favorite medium? Pen and paper lets me loosen up and mess around more, but I prefer the look of my digital drawings. Also, transform tool my beloved <2 6. What was the last thing you created/drew? At the time of writing? A little headshot of a wizard OC concept guy, pencil on paper! 7. What's your favorite thing to draw? Dragons my beloved <2 Or my Pokemon OCs :) 8. Favorite color / color combination? Dark green. Dark blue with lighter blue and some yellow for contrast. Grey-blue-purple colour idk how to describe it. 9. Least favorite color / color combination? Maybe it's the sensory issues but I HATE HATE HATE neons 10: What, in your opinion, is a feature that defines your artstyle? I honestly have no clue. 11. Do you prefer digital or traditional art? Digital, by a small margin. I need the transform tool to function /hj 12. Do you flip your canvas, if you draw digitally? If I remember (aka no) 13. Vector or Bitmap? Bitmap (that's what MediBang is!) 14. What's your favorite digital art app [and brush]? MediBang and I use the default brush or one that I made myself! 15. How do you protect your art from theft? I watermark it if I remember (I have no memory) 16: Do you allow recoloring of your work? Tracing? If they ask first and give credit. 17. Are you okay with people reposting your original art with credit? Yes. 18. Do you feel comfortable with people referencing your art? How heavily? Yes, as long as they aren't just producing a carbon copy. 19. Do you have a main OC / persona? Who are they? Yes, several actually! Hector, Hanne, Hyacinth, and Skelly!
20. Halfway there- how many OCs do you have? Many. 21. Do you draw fanart? If so, for which fandom[s]? Yes - Pokemon and Warrior Cats mainly, but I plan to draw some Grishaverse fanart too :) 22. Name an aspect of art that you're really good at. Idk, shading?? 23. Name something you'd like to improve on in your art. Hands, I literally draw them as blobs. And I wish my eye style would stay consistent...And my posing is crap sometimes... 24. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your artistic process? Favourite is shading, and I hate colouring. 25. Who or what inspires you? There's a long list; I won't bore you with it. 26. Name 3 [or more!] of your favorite artists. 1: Louixie on YouTube! 2: FluffyGinger on YouTube! 3: Shandzii on YouTube! 27. Is there an artist that you think deserves more recognition? Who? ALL OF THEM 28. Are you into animation? Yes, but I struggle with it. 29. Are you considering art as a future career or part-time job? If you have something else in mind, what is it? Part-time, possibly? But I'd also like to be an author or something related to cybersecurity. Or maybe an entomologist, but I don't particularly enjoy biology lessons and I don't want to take biology A-level, which I'd almost certainly have to do to be an entomologist (entomology = the study of insects) 30. Do you take [or have you taken] art classes? If so, what kind? No. 31. What tips or advice would you offer to a beginner artist? You are not perfect at art. You never will be. But you will improve! Keep doing your best <2 32. Do you listen to anything while you draw? If so, what? I sometimes listen to Welcome to Night Vale when I draw 33. Do you sell your art online, in person, or at all? No, I'm too young for PayPal (you have to be 18, and I'm a teenager) 34. What are your go-to art materials? Paper and whatever pen or pencil is lying around if I'm doing traditional. For digital, my phone and MediBang paint! 35. Do you prefer drawing humans or animals? Humans are more rewarding in later stages, but I do two sketches for them and the first sketch especially is a pain, whereas I've been drawing animals for longer and find them easier to draw. So it's probably a tie between the two! 36. Painting or sculpting? NO. 37. Who is your favorite classical artist? I don't know enough to say! 38. Do you prefer realism, semi-realism, or cartoon? Cartoon, I don't have the attention span for the others. 39. What is your favorite art piece [by another artist]? I'm not sure! 40. Last one! What brand is your sketchbook? Wait people are using proper sketchbooks? I just use random notebooks!
