Pronouns : she/her (eventually will come out as nonbinary and use any pronouns) vi. Activity level : usually an 8/10, although it occasionally drops a little due to motivation crashes (I check Scratch pretty much daily regardless of motivation) vii. About me : Nice to meet you! I’m a roleplayer, theatre kid, and self-taught artist who’s constantly rocketing between hyperfixations. I love drawing, reading, and listening to music! I play the trumpet and sing in a choir. I love chatting with people and rambling about battle cats. viii. Why I want to be a medicine cat : I think that it would be very in-character for Nightingalepaw to go for the medicine cat role, and it opens her character up to a whole new plotline which I'd be super excited to go through with. I’d love an opportunity to play a medicine cat - i always find it a really exciting and fun role. ( small subsection - why nightingalepaw wants to be a medicine cat ) Nightingalepaw takes any opportunity to gain more power, which is what he sees being a med cat as, due to the high rank and connection to Starclan. She'd probably be encouraged at least subconsciously by his mother being a medicine cat, and would feel more comfortable than most cats in the medicine den. Even though she'd dislike the job, he'd be fairly good at it, which is one of the reasons that would cause him to take it up. The other major reason, of course, being power. Not only does a medicine cat control the entire welfare of the clan, they have a special bond with Starclan (another thing that would entice Nighty, a firm believer in Starclan). It's a huge step up in the hierarchy and it would put Nightingale in a perfect position to manipulate and control people. As I'm hoping for a Nightingale villain arc at some point, I think this would be a fantastic way of setting this up. It'd naturally be a position that Night, an extremely ambitious individual, would want to seize. And I think that as he's close to two of Thunderclan's medicine cats (Boo and previously Swam), he would definitely use that to their advantage. As for Nightingalepaw's more personal reasons for the choice, Nighty is a vain and self-centred character; he'd believe that she's entitled to a place as a medicine cat. Once he decides he wants this role, she'll be fixated on it. ix. What my character would be like as a medicine cat : Nightingalepaw wouldn’t like being a medicine cat very much, at least not the actual medicine bit. She’d find staying behind the lines of battle boring, and spending all his time in a den or searching for herbs is dull at best. Having said that, they would enjoy being able to heal people, and of course the connection to Starclan and extra power is only a bonus. And Nighty would be pretty good at her job. Having spent a lot of time in the medicine den as a kit, she’s familiar with its layout and I’d assume she knows some basic herbs (somebody tell me if this is unrealistic ^^). She’s also not sensitive to blood or gore, and can keep calm under pressure. She’d have a good bedside manner, although they could come off as pretty cold, and have a short temper. x.
