------------------------------ How to Use ----------------------------- First, READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS. Yes, they're long, and most of it will probably be obvious, but there are some tips hidden throughout it, so it's still wise to read everything! Once the instructions have been read, hit the green flag and click the "Start" button to start. Type in your Clan name and Player Cat Name. Only type the PREFIX of both names unless you want to be TurtleClanClan or Graystarstar. Once playing, click on the "Do a Task" button to see options for attacking another Clan, hunting, patrolling, or waiting. If you hover over the "Patrol" button and press the g key, you can gamble with your food and warriors. More on everything below. -------------------------------- Attacking ------------------------------ Click the "Attack" button to see the three other Clans, and check the box next to one of them to choose to attack that Clan. Then type in the number of warriors you want to send into battle. If you don't want to fight, but already clicked the box, type in that you want to send 0 cats and it will take you back to camp. No, you cannot send a negative number of cats. You can send a fraction of a cat, however, but it will round the number of remaining warriors once you go back to camp. Sending 0.5 cats into battle might be an effective strategy though, I guess you'll have to find out. Battles are easy, you win the fight unless every single one of your cats dies. If you win, you take 1 territory from the other Clan. If you have taken all of the territories from another Clan, there's an option to bring it back and give it a fraction of your territory. -------------------------- Going to Gatherings ---------------------- Every 15 moons, you can go to a Gathering instead of attacking. The "Gathering" button will replace the "Attack" button in the tasks menu. You don't have to go to Gatherings, but they are usually more helpful than harmful overall. You should probably go. ---------------------------------- Hunting ------------------------------ Click the "Hunt" button and type in how many cats to send. I don't know why hunting takes a whole moon, but that's how it was when I remixed it. You get more prey the more cats you send, and it never really runs out. With this game, you can stock up on a lot of prey, and then do something more interesting while you wait to get more cats. -------------------------------- Patrolling ------------------------------ Both bad and good things can happen on patrols. You don't have to go on them at all if you don't want to; this game has no Warrior Code. If you have any ideas for things that can happen on patrols, please comment! By the way, you have to send at least one warrior on a patrol, no sending 0.5 cats this time. -------------------------------- Gambling ------------------------------ Press the g key while hovering over the "Patrol" button to gamble fresh-kill or warriors. I honestly don't know why that's there, the original creator of this game () made it. Click on the buttons to gamble, type "yes" if you're sure you want to, and then type the amount of fresh-kill or warriors you want to risk. It's double or nothing, and you can put negative or decimal amounts if you wish, but the numbers will be rounded to the nearest whole number when you go back to camp. -------------------------------- Waiting --------------------------------- Just click the "Wait" button to do nothing. When you wait, it only advances the number of moons by 1, but it doesn't advance the rate at which events happen. ------------------------------- Cheating ------------------------------- My little purple symbol thing in the corner with the swirl can help out if you have a lack of warriors and/or kits. Click its eyeball to cheat on that. (EYEBALL THING STOPPED WORKING, CURRENTLY TRYING TO FIX THAT, SORRY) Sometimes when you come back from a battle, apprentices will automatically become warriors. --------------------------------- Winning ------------------------------- There ARE ways to win, but it takes a very long time unless you hit the cheat button.
