Fullscreen and headphones recommended (those paninis won't be heard on speakers ;) /ref)! ♫ ⋅.} ────── ⊰ Introduction I really wasn't sure if I'd ever make one of these again, but in July the idea for this gripped me by the shoulders and wouldn't let go. I've always enjoyed music (especially vocal/choral music), and it felt strange to me that I'd never expressed that on Scratch—so after a month of work, here's the result! This is the first time I've ever worked with recording and audio editing, and I took it as an opportunity to teach myself the basics; in the couple of weeks since I've finalized all the audio files I've learnt a lot about how I could have avoided the many mistakes I made, but it's okay! There's only so much one can do with a partially broken USB microphone, free audio software, and a 10 mb upload limit. Overall, considering all of the above combined with the pressures of school, I am very happy with the result <3 It turns out reverb can hide a lot if you're willing to be heavy-handed with it, bwaha. /lh (Also I'm curious which one is your favourite, if you have one ohoho) ♫ ⋅.} ────── ⊰ Instructions Press the green flag, then click any of the tracks listed to see a quick blurb about why I chose it. Click/press the right arrow key to proceed to my answer, and the song will start. Continue clicking/right arrow keying to progress through the slides (left arrow key to go backwards, it won't restart the song) until the answer ends. Opening a new answer while one song is still playing will end the previous song and start the new one, just a heads up. If you'd like to pause the music, there's a button in the top left corner! It won't do anything if no music is already playing though bwaha. Apologies the other ostensible buttons don't do anything, they were either unnecessary for the app, would take too much time to wrangle with, or were out of reach of my terrible coding skills. ♫ ⋅.} ────── ⊰ Excerpt Here, have fun with it ohoho. https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/7400917/ ♫ ⋅.} ────── ⊰ Credits ⊰ @-Alocasia (Alba) and @always-wriiting (Katie) first and foremost, for agreeing to do this <333 ⊰ Apple Music for the base layout bwaha. ⊰ All of the original artists in the project for their music and the incredible work that they do—especially Sleeping at Last, since I fully used the available instrumental for that. ⊰ The guitar, hands, sheet music, and thumbnail assets are all from the creative common options found using duckduckgo. (though the sunset photo was taken by me!) ⊰ (Linden) for offering to help with the coding and suggesting ideas for something I did not end up having the time to code </3 ⊰ Everyone, past and present, who has made SWC possible: We wouldn't be doing this without you.
