On February 7th, a 16 year old nonbinary student named Nex Benedict was beat by three bullies in a school bathroom, because of their pronouns and the way they were dressed. The next day, Nex was rushed to the hospital because he had trouble breathing, where they died later that day. I entered this art collab because I want to spread awareness about this- things like this should never, ever, happen and Nex didn’t deserve this.
